The saddle we have here, the Men’s Nymber Carbon Saddle, has a minimal amount of padding which conspires with the carbon rails to keep the weight low and is recommended for cyclists with a waist between 32-37-inches.

The Nymber is recommended for road, cross-country, and tri applications. At its nose is the signature “beak” shape providing a flat foundation while seated, while reducing pressure on soft tissues. SMP’s central channel is also incorporated, for further pressure reduction on the pudendal nerve and surrounding sensitive areas. The back of the saddle features a pronounced ramp that provides the ideal platform for bracing against on the climbs and helps better divide body weight over the ischial tuberosity on either side of the channel. Furthermore, the shape reduces overall pressure on the coccyx, increasing long-range comfort, especially over rougher roads.

The saddle is covered in soft leather on the black version and features a durable Lorica microfiber on the colored versions. Underneath the covering is a thin, elastomer foam for lasting comfort on those endless chip seal rural roads, while the carbon reinforced composite shell floats on unidirectional carbon fiber rails, dropping some serious grams and further aiding in the reduction of high-frequency vibrations.

The Selle SMP Nymber comes in at 267mm long and 139mm wide and in the colors Black, Yellow Fluo, and White. It is handmade in Italy and has a claimed weight of 230 grams.
